Your First Visit
Your first appointment gives us the opportunity to learn more about your oral health and understand your dental needs. Before treatment begins, we will review your dental and medical history to ensure we have a complete picture of your overall health. This information allows us to recommend care that is appropriate for you and develop a treatment plan that supports your long-term oral health.
When Should I Arrive?
We recommend arriving 20 minutes early so you have enough time to complete your paperwork, provide your insurance information, and fill out your medical and dental history forms.
What Happens During My First Appointment?
A new patient appointment usually lasts about 90 minutes. During your visit, our team may:
Review your dental and medical history.
Take digital X-rays to evaluate your oral health.
Capture intraoral photographs when needed.
Perform a professional dental cleaning.
Complete an oral cancer screening.
Carry out a comprehensive dental examination.
Once your examination is complete, we’ll explain our findings, answer any questions you may have, and discuss any recommended treatment. If additional treatment is needed, we can also provide printed or emailed cost estimates for future appointments.

New Patient Insurance Form
If you would like to review your dental benefits before treatment begins, you can download and complete our New Patient Insurance Form. Once completed, you may email it to our office before your appointment or bring a printed copy with you.

Appointment Changes
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least two business days’ notice. This allows us to offer the appointment time to another patient who may be waiting for care.
