Dr. Leana Lundt graduated from the University of Pretoria’s School of Dentistry in 2008 and practised in South Africa before moving to Vancouver in 2011. In 2016, she opened JVR Dental with a vision of creating a modern, family-focused practice where exceptional patient care and technology work hand in hand.
Dr. Lundt has a passion for digital dentistry and dental technology, continually exploring ways technology can make treatment more predictable, efficient, comfortable, and accessible for patients. She provides comprehensive family dentistry for patients of all ages and has a special interest in SureSmile clear aligner therapy, implants, endodontics, restorative dentistry, and the oral development and care of children and teens.
Her enthusiasm for technology extends well beyond her own practice. Dr. Lundt is a Global SureSmile Key Opinion Leader, Global Endodontic Key Opinion Leader, and Restorative Key Opinion Leader for Dentsply Sirona. She regularly speaks at dental conferences and educational events, sharing practical workflows and helping dentists and their teams confidently integrate new technology into everyday practice. Teaching is one of Dr. Lundt’s greatest passions. She believes technology is most powerful when it simplifies dentistry, strengthens the dental team, and ultimately creates a better experience for the patient.
Outside the office, Leana enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, travelling, and escaping to the lake with her family whenever she gets the chance.
