If you’re missing all or most of your natural teeth, full or partial dentures may be just the right solution. JVR Dental works to provide patients in the Langley area with first-class denture services.

What are dentures?

They work as a replacement for natural teeth and are primarily designed for mouths that are missing all or most of their teeth.

Unlike other types of replacements or repairs, they are not permanently attached to the natural teeth or jawbone.

What are complete dentures and why do I need them?

Complete dentures are worn during the day and removed overnight to give your gums time to relax and “breathe” and to clean your dentures by soaking them in a cleanser. We recommend this type of denture to patients who are missing most of their natural teeth.

In some cases, you may have to remove your few remaining natural teeth for the complete set of them to fit.

What are partial dentures and why do I need them?

Partial dentures are similar to complete dentures, except that they do not replace your remaining natural teeth. The missing teeth are replaced with artificial ones attached to a flexible frame that clips onto the natural teeth.

In some cases, they can be fixed into place, while in others, they can be removed and routinely cleaned in the same way as to complete dentures.
